Spooktacular Science Challenge 2015 Join the NS3 in our third annual Spooktacular Science Challenge! The challenge course runs through Bowen Park and has several Spooktacular science stations along the way!
Details:
10:00-10:45: Onsite registration (Bowen Road lower picnic shelter)
11:00: Challenge begins at the Bowen Park lower picnic shelter
12:00: Raffle Draw
12:15: Science Demo
Some Spooktacular science challenges: • Fear Factor! Do you dare reach into to the mystery box? Can you guess what is inside? • Spooky Slime! Experiment with slime and create your own goop! • Scary Plastics! Can you find the hidden plastics lurking in our sand? • Myth Busters! Learn how some ‘spooky’ animals often get a bad name with special animal guests from the Nanaimo SPCA!
Registration information: Pre-registration is available for a discounted price of $10/child. Adults and kids under 4 are free!
Tickets include entry into the science challenge, a free beverage and a paint balloon for the balloon slingshot
There will be on-site registration on the morning of the race for $12/child.
Food: There will be hot dogs (meat and veggie) available on site for $2.00 Hot chocolate and coffee will also be available.
