By popular demand we are excited and proud to bring back the biggest Latin Festival in Victoria for a second year!

The 2nd Annual Viva! Victoria Latin Fest 2019 is taking place on Saturday, August 3rd from 12 noon-6pm at Centennial Square in downtown Victoria. A Latin American-inspired cultural event that will feature live music, dance, food, cultural activities, and more. This daylong event is free for the whole family.

Viva! Victoria Latin Fest 2019 recreates the spirit of a Latin American carnival celebration with fun for Victorians of all ages and backgrounds. The festival will feature Vancouver’s nine-piece band Wasakaka All Stars, traditional South American folk music group Raices, Mexican folk dance group Fiesta Latina Dancers, and more. There will also be a food court, beverage garden, exhibitors and kids’ activities.

This 2nd annual festival is being organized by director Moises del Olmo and his team of volunteers. It is sponsored by Here Magazine and other community partners. Moises, originally from Mexico, has long wanted to bring Victoria’s growing Latino community together to showcase the best of Latin American culture and talent as a way to build community and promote diversity.

Last year more than 2500 people celebrated the Latin culture with us at Centennial Square.

This year ViVa Latin Fest will start on the Friday night and carry-on until early Sunday morning! A full weekend of amazing entertainment.

New this year: the festival will start with a Latin Fiesta at V lounge on Aug 2nd with your favorite latin Dj's, 8pm-1am.

*Cover $10 - V lounge is 19+

On August 3rd, a jammed pack 6 hours of non-stop live music, dance performances and entertainment at Centennial Square 12-6pm. *No entry fee. All ages.

The Festival will then close with a live band performance on August 3rd in the evening at V Lounge. 8p-2am. *Cover $10 - V lounge is 19+
