This event is supporting the following cause:
"I Have A Name started as a campaign by three women with one passion: social justice. In 2008 those women; Chris-Ann Lake, Yvonne Laczkowski, Megan Callaghan, spent six weeks in East Africa connecting with non-government organizations (NGO's) in Kenya and Uganda. Their purpose in going was to evaluate the current structures of local systems that existed amidst conflict, in effort to create sustainable relationships between themselves and the people meeting the needs there.
Upon returning, they further purposed themselves with a mission to support the most urgent projects they visited by raising awareness and funds. Now, with your help, their goal is to invest in and support the causes, projects and people who are passionate about holistic sustainable change not only in successful structures but in the lives of the individuals benefiting from them."
