12 + 12 is the NEW 24 - 12 hours of competitive and fun camp challenges and 12 hours of glow-in-the-dark and campfire overnight fun

After 20 years we’re ready to ramp up our relay! We’ve listened to the valuable feedback we received from our long-standing participants - YOU! - and the result is an event with more fun, more challenges and more adventure! Imagine, the best of the 24 Hour Relay with the added adrenaline of new activities and competitive camp challenges: 

Challenge yourself on activities like our climbing wall, archery, games in our pool and in the lake, a soccer skills challenge and our classic volleyball tournament! Enjoy some live music, sit by a campfire and take an overnight staycation at Camp Shawnigan! Show your stuff at our Master Chef Showdown! Play your best poker face at our Texas Hold’em Challenge!

This is one event this summer you’re not going to want to miss! Campfires and glow-in-the-dark bocce are just the start. You’ll party the day away in the lake, and in our swimming pool, on a giant team swing or on a scavenger hunt and then relax at night in front of an outdoor movie screen, a campfire and at our beer garden. Plus, you’re getting a taste of just what your valuable fundraising provides: unforgettable camp experiences to children throughout the Province.

What else is different from the 24 Hour Relay?

• Optional Overnight Camping. Come for just the day or stay the night and get away from it all for a weekend.


• Saturday Evening Awards and Recognition Ceremony. Unlike previous years, our awards ceremony will take place on Saturday evening instead of Sunday morning making it easier to return home that evening if needed.

After 20 years of running, let’s switch gears and embrace the Easter Seals 24 Hour Camp Challenge together! Let’s give the kids a chance to discover their abilities at an Easter Seals Camp. 

The Easter Seals 24 Hour Camp Challenge is a community based fundraising event that involves groups of people participating in different camping and sporting events for 24 Hours. Teams are made up of co-workers, recreational groups, friends and family who collect individual pledges or organize team fundraising events to raise money towards their collective team total. All funds raised from this event go towards Easter Seals Camp Shawnigan... and what a perfect location for this camp adventure!
