Kids can create their own masterpieces in an Art Tent with local artist Yvonne VanderKooi. They can ride the rails on the El Paso train adventure, play human jumping bean in the inflatable castle, spin on the merry-go-round, climb the climbing wall, or say hello to the animals at the petting farm. They can watch a magician, get their face painted, or romp in the brand new water park and playground.
A favourite for seniors is the popular Strawberry Social Tea, dedicated to the memory of Laura Ramsay, author of The Southenders. Or you may enjoy our annual Heritage Walk, led by local historian Jill Stannard.
The official opening is at 11:00. There will be a mixture of musical acts throughout the day, as well as clowns and entertainers.
It's the South End's annual event, but we welcome everyone..north,south, east or west!.
