From 9:30 am - 11 am there will be a shoreline cleanup - meet at Lions Pavilion
From 11 am - 3 pm Join in the fun and learn more about your local ocean at this FREE family event. There will be marine touch tanks, Snuneymuxw cultural activities, marine conservation displays, interactive dive experiences, build-a-whale display, farmers' market, vessel tours and more!
This event is being hosted by Snuneymuxw First Nation, City of Nanaimo, Port of Nanaimo and Fisheries & Oceans Canada. Support is being provided by World Fisheries Trust, Remax of Nanaimo, Sundown Diving, Western Canada Marine Response Corporation, Panago, Nanaimo Dive Outfitters, Green For Life Environmental and Vancouver Island University.
