The Champagne Dinner & Auction gala has grown to be the Cowichan Valley’s premier fundraising event. Nearly 400 guests bid through silent and live auctions during a fun-filled evening. Each year we receive fantastic donations of vacation and weekend getaways, dining and theatre excursions, golf packages, artwork, collectibles, jewelry, cash, and many other diverse items!
Since the gala’s inception in 1989, it has remained the Foundation’s major fundraising event. Our 2018 event raised $160,000 net. The funds raised in 2018 were dedicated to improving cancer diagnostics closer to home and 20% of the funds raised are dedicated towards the new hospital building fund.
