2017 Nanaimo Rivers Day

Nanaimo Rivers Day is a celebration of the world's waterways.
It highlights the many values of our rivers & waterways and strives to increase public awareness and encourage the improved stewardship of rivers around the world.
Activities for the day include community group information and interactive booths, interpretive stream walk, live music by local bands - Downward Dawgs, TerraZetto & David Hart, and a salmon BBQ hosted by NALT. The City of Nanaimo will also have 500 Tree Coupons available for $20 ea (up to $75 value) for Nanaimo Residents - 2 per property. Rivers Day tours hosted by Naniamo River Watershed Roundtable (please call 250-756-5200 to register) happen on Friday Sept 22 and Sunday Sept 24. See you there.
