A spectacular double-bill of contemporary circus arts opens with three of the West Coast’s favourite jugglers in Cause & Effect Circus’ award-winning The New Conformity – a tightly choreographed piece beautifully blending prop manipulation, martial arts and physical theatre. Next, The Underground Circus, who have been wowing BC audiences for years, present Equilibrium Fugue. Featuring a massive movable half-moon-shaped contraption, performers explore complex themes of equilibrium in movement and stillness through dance, theatre, high risk and artistic acrobatics.
