Internationally-acclaimed contemporary ballet company Ballet BC is known for their bold and innovative style. This spectacular performance features three dance pieces, showcasing the work of celebrated female choreographers who are reshaping contemporary ballet. In 16+ a room, Emily Molnar, Ballet BC’s Artistic Director, displays her unique choreographic style through a complex study of time, transition and stillness. With Solo Echo, globally celebrated former Ballet BC company member Crystal Pite explores recurring themes of acceptance and loss. Finally, Tel Aviv-based Sharon Eyal’s Bill is a daring piece of intricate and precise expressions of the body combining dance, music and design.
