Santee Smith’s solo piece beautifully fuses Indigenous and contemporary dance performance while exploring our relationship to all living entities and elements. NeoIndigenA is an elemental search that fiercely cycles through the sacred portals between Skyworld, Earthworld and Underworld. This piece promises to be both transcendent and primordial.

Cris Derksen
JUNO Nominee Cris Derksen is a cellist and composer known for building layers of sound into captivating performances. Her music braids the traditional and contemporary in multiple dimensions, weaving her classical training and her Aboriginal ancestry with new school electronics, creating genre defying music. Cris will be performing with a percussionist and a hoop dancer.
