The Culture & Heritage Awards honour the best of Nanaimo’s culture and heritage. Join us for an evening of recognition and FREE entertainment by Nanaimo’s very own local talent.
The following recipients will be recognized at a special ceremony:
--Susan Juby - Excellence in Culture Award
--Debbie Trueman - Honour in Culture Award
--Alyssa Glassford - Emerging Cultural Leader Award
--John Hofman - John Thomson Heritage Memorial Award
There will be performances by:
--Vibrant Dance Studio
--Brigadoon Dance Academy
--M.E.M. Dance Company
--The Footprints of the Wolf
--Nanaimo’s Poet Laureate
--Wellington Jazz Band
Everyone is welcome to attend. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
