An artistic race against time to bring Heritage to life.
Painters and photographers meet at #4 Commercial Street at 10:00 am where they draw randomly for a Heritage building location supplied by the City. You then spend the day painting and photographing your selected building, returning with a presentation ready piece where the work is judged to receive cash prizes totalling $500.
The event is free to view and $10 for Nanaimo Arts Council members, $12 for non-members to enter.

The Heritage Paint Out Shoot Out is a collaboration between the Nanaimo Community Heritage Commission, Nanaimo Museum and Nanaimo Arts Council.
