THE DNBIA is pleased to announce the launching of the 3rd annual Summertime Music Series with THE LOIS LANE LUNCH BREAK presented by CHLY Radio.
Every Thursday 11am-2pm from June 5th to August 28th, CHLY and the DNBIA would like folks to come out, bring their lunch and listen to some live, local music in Lois Lane, just down the China Steps! Tables and chairs will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
June 5th � Theo Massop
The season kicks off with long time Nanaimo resident and lead singer for the group BoodAbooM, Theo Massop. He presents adult alternative music bringing you a blend of roots music, rock, reggae, folk rock, blues and country rock. Songs from previous and current albums about life, love, joy, and sorrow. As well you may well hear renditions of songs from respected songwriters such as Leonard Cohen, Steve Earle, Bob Marley and more. This lifelong musician and entertainer will weave you through tales and tunes born from the observations of a poet and troubadour.
