2014 Island Cup Series: Mt. Prevost Downhill Race

Downhill mountain bike racing is returning to the Cowichan Valley on June 8, with the third stop in the Island Cup Downhill Series. Mt. Prevost is home to a fast, flowy trail called Memphis, but bring your lungs because it isn�t short.

Race Fee � $50 including Shuttles

If you are not a member of a Cycling BC affiliated club you will need to pay a $10 one-day membership fee at the race site.

Race package pick up and the initial shuttle pick will be at the Somenos Hall, located on HWY 18 on the way to Cowichan lake. Package pick up starts at 8:00am and shuttles start at 9:30am.

About the Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series

The 2014 Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series, is BC�s premiere grassroots race series spanning the length of Vancouver Island. Cross Country, Downhill, Enduro and Marathon disciplines are brought together from numerous local mountain bike clubs.

If you�re a first timer, seasoned pro or just out to have some fun we would love to see you experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island.

Island Cup Races are sanctioned by Cycling BC.
