Downhill mountain bike racing is returning to the Cowichan Valley on May 19th, with the third stop in the Island Cup Downhill Series. Mt. Prevost is home to a fast, flowy trail called Memphis, but bring your lungs because it isn't short.

The 2013 Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series, is BC�s premiere grassroots race series spanning the length of Vancouver Island. Cross Country, Downhill, Super D and Marathon disciplines are brought together from numerous local mountain bike clubs.

If you�re a first timer, seasoned pro or just out to have some fun we would love to see you experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island.

Island Cup Races are sanctioned by Cycling BC.

Time: Pre-Registration online available now at https://www.raceonline.ca/register/?id=245. There is a 200 racer limit.

Race package pick up and the initial shuttle pick will be at the Somenos Hall, located on HWY 18 on the way to Cowichan lake. Package pick up starts at 8:00am and shuttles start at 9:30am.

Fees � $50. Racers must have a current Cycling BC License ($10 one day license available at registration)
