A change of venue this year for the 2013 Island Cup XC Finals, hosted by Campbell River on June 9th. Course will be the same as last year with lots of amazing singletrack through the Snowden Demonstration Forest.

The 2013 Vancouver Island Cup Mountain Bike Race Series, is BC�s premiere grassroots race series spanning the length of Vancouver Island. Cross Country, Downhill, Enduro and Marathon disciplines are brought together from numerous local mountain bike clubs. (Island Cup Races are sanctioned by Cycling BC.)

If you�re a first timer, seasoned pro or just out to have some fun we would love to see you experience mountain bike racing on Vancouver Island.

Location: Campbell River Snowden Demonstration Forest.

- Easiest Directions: Head north to Campbell River, follow signs to Highway 28 Gold River. At the top of the big hill, turn right to Snowden Camp Road / Elk Falls Park. At park entrance, stay left and continue across dam. Keep straight on Snowden Camp Rd and follow signs past silviculture nursery�s At cross roads, stay left. Next left to Lost Frog parking lot. Parking will be on sides of roads. (See Map)

Online Pre-Registration will be available shortly.

Fees � $20. Racers must have a current Cycling BC License ($10 one day license available at registration)

We will be having a camp fire and awards after the race. Some hot dogs and snack foods will be supplied.

Laps � 10.5km � Beginner 1 lap, Intermediate 2 laps, Expert 3 laps

Trails � Red Devil, Lost Frog, Lost Lake, Mudhoney Pass, BLT, Grilled Cheese, Ham Sandwich, Red Devil.
