Annual event in support of The Haven Society. Popular daytime bazaar with a real Eastern market feel, lots of imported and local items for everyday wear, yoga, dance and just for fun. Food and door prizes, music and dance,
mini-workshops and a morning workshop on a healing trance dance from North Africa.
This year we are adding an evening show and all ages drum and dance party in celebration of the Summer Solstice. Enjoy some of our finest mid-island dancers performing many different styles and join in a fun dance party lead by drummers featuring Voodoo Dave, Gisele & Xavier of Grassroot Rhythms, Robin of Sylvan Temple Drum, great world music with DJ. ($5 kids under 12)
Tickets for evening show available at the door or in advance at Lobelia's Lair, House of Indigo, Prostitch Alterations.
Sign up in advance for 1.5 hour workshop 10-11:30am on the Zar dance with respected international teacher Rahma Haddad ($20 advance or $25 at door) by emailing the organizers.
