2 Week~ Vancouver Island Sailing Circumnavigation

Join us on this unforgettable and awe-inspiring journey around Vancouver Island. Improve your sailing skills while enjoying incredible vistas along the spectacular West Coast. Use this trip as a "test" if you are considering offshore sailing and wish to gain confidence. This is an opportunity to fulfill your sailing dreams aboard "Northwest Passage" our 42 ft. Finnish classic Baltic Sloop: equipped for offshore conditions and with all the creature comforts, including paddle boards for exploring and fun.

We will head out from Gabriola island and rendezvous with another vessel from Nanaimo Yacht Charters proceeding northward through the spectacular Inside Passage past Port Hardy and around Cape Scott. Our intention will be to stay within sight of land on the outside, however the final itinerary will be decided by the crew as we make our way southward. This is an AMAZING adventure complete with fully catered meals and snacks allowing you to fully enjoy the sights and learning opportunities without "galley duties"

Use this program to further develop skills at your current level while you enjoy this spectacular region, or choose to step up and complete ISPA Coastal Skipper/Navigator under the expert tutelage of Captain Tim Melville. Just imagine.


Please allow for one extra day at the end of the course when making travel arrangements in the case of a delay in returning.
