The 154th Victoria Highland Games & Celtic Festival will be the largest in its history and will be held over a 10 day period in 2017.

This is the largest Scottish cultural event and only 3 full day Games in Western Canada and our festival continues to grow each year – over 25,000 people are anticipated at Topaz Park on May 20, 21 and 22 in 2017.

The Victoria Day holiday weekend in Victoria is a great time to visit this spectacular city and the Games are one of the premier events to attend! Hope to see you at the Games!

During all three days

Celtic music and entertainment performances,
Massed pipe band performances,
Hurling and Gaelic football competition,
Falconry and medieval sword demonstrations,
Clan and heritage displays and demonstrations,
Drystone walling,
Children’s entertainment area (bouncy castles, face painting and celtic sports events),
Scottish and Celtic merchandise vendors,
Large food court,
Whisky school,
Beer gardens.

Saturday, May 20th

Pipe band competition,
Solo piping and drumming competition,
Professional Piobaireachd competition,
Victoria International Heavy Event Challenge.

Sunday, May 21st

Monday, May 22nd

Irish dance competition,
Sheep herding and agility and fly-ball dog demonstrations,
Victoria Strongman Competition,
Tug of war competition,
Kilted mile race.
