The South Cowichan Lawn Tennis Club's 127th annual Vancouver Island Grass Court Championships runs from July 20 to July 26.

This very old and prestigious grass court tournament has been played on this heritage site since 1887. It attracts players from around the world, many returning on an annual basis. We host many social events during the week including a welcome cocktail party, barbeque and silent auction, and the annual International Dinner /Dance. In addition our clubhouse offers food and beverage service during the week. This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and renew old friendships. Our club is run by friendly volunteers who make every effort to make your week at South Cowichan memorable.

Practice Day: Saturday, July 19.

Events M / W singles and doubles ages 30,35,45,55,65,70

Men's singles and doubles ages 75,80

Mixed combined ages 70,100,120,135

Entry fees: Doubles $37.50 +gst per player
Singles $40 +gst

New this year. The mixed combined events will be played the first 3 days and will be a triple knockout format. The singles and doubles will start Wednesday July 23.

This is a Tennis BC sanctioned tournament. You must be a Tennis BC member to enter.
