From March 27 to April 1 learn the latest in urban street dance with OURO Collective, Canada’s rising star dance collective from Vancouver. This annual spring break workshop takes place at VIBE Dance Studio and the culminating performance takes place at the Port Theatre, April 2, 7:30pm.

Bboy, Bgirl, Byoung, Badult! These are classes for all ages that are suited to your experience levels! #BeBoldDance is our #tag to raise a crowd of participants and audience to attend the show. Watch for free tickets in our Social Media sites.

Be Bold! Try something new, stretch our comfort zone and your muscles while expanding your body and mind in a fun way together. Live the life of a dance artist for a week! These dance workshops will be led by OURO COLLECTIVE, an eclectic group of Vancouver based artists who use hip-hop, waacking, breaking, popping and contemporary dance as the foundation for the creation and production of new work (  

Dance! Enjoy the experience of performing what you learned on stage at the illustrious Port Theatre! Or be bold and bring a friend to The Port Theatre to witness your friends and community in action at the performance! Showing up as an audience member inspires AND assists the efforts of the youth who organized this event and the community participants who take part!  OURO Collective will perform their own choreography, PACE, right after the workshop participants who receive a VIP pass to watch their show.

Body Talk is a program, produced by Crimson Coast Dance Society, that offers career explorations in the performing arts to teens who meet each year, October to May, to plan this very event. Professional mentors assist them in developing and producing a remarkable event for the entire community.

Event producer, Crimson Coast Dance Society is a charitable not-for-profit society. This Festival Nanaimo listed event is sponsored by the Province of British Columbia, British Columbia Arts Council, Heritage Canada, City of Nanaimo, MadeInBC, The Port Theatre, Vibe Dance Studio, School District 68, Wild Craft Play, Island Savings, Rotary - Nanaimo Daybreak.
