10th Annual Webber Charity Yard Haunt

Thursday, October 31st, 2013
Noon - 3pm, and 5pm - 10pm - both days.

Enter through our witches hut, complete with jars of icky sticky strangeness - then emerge into the fabled Webber Cemetary, where swirls of fog will engulf your feet and zombies just may be lurking. Cross over the rickety bridge, and hope the railings might save you - stop with us at the porch and enjoy a cup of free hot apple cider, or hot chocolate- but be careful when you turn around, we keep monsters in a cage right there. Sneak past the alien abduction site, and by the torture chamber - have a seat in our electric chair, wear a smile, take a picture! Have a laugh with the pirates, in our own pirate cove - they play poker with chocolate doubloons, you know! Finally find your escape, but wait - you have to go through the tunnel to get past the gates!

For 10 years, we have been haunting our yard for the Comox Valley Food Bank, and although it started out small - it's grown into something amazing and fantastic that we are infinitely proud to have been a part of. Last year we raised over $1,200.00 in food and cash donations! We started this as a way to teach our children about the value of giving back - and now that our children are grown (and one has a child of their own) we are ready to hang up our witches hats. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that has come out throughout the years and donated, volunteered, an d participated in the Webber Yard Haunt over the years - we couldn't have done it without you!
