Check-in begins 3:00pm. Run starts 3:45pm.

Whether you’re a running legend or have never put a pair of running shoes on in your life, this run is sure to be blast for all fitness levels and ages! Have you always wanted to take part in all the awesome runs in town, but didn’t want to run that much? Well, we’ve got you covered. At JACK’s 1K: Monster Dash there will be mud, paint, chocolate stations and other obstacles all packed into 1000 meters! Don’t be fooled, this is an official run complete with a start/finish line and of course an awesome after party!

There will be all sorts of prizes including beautiful finishing bouquets from Brown’s The Florist and prizes for best dressed, fastest male and female across the line, last across the line and many more.

To participate in the Monster Dash, make a suggested minimum donation of $15 to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation. Your Monster Dash package includes tickets to watch both the men’s and women’s UVIC Vikes basketball teams, delicious food courtesy of Red Barn Market, beverages and a bunch more. If you pre-register online before the race you’ll receive an exclusive monster dash t-shirt (while supplies last).

Donating to run in the JACK 1K couldn’t be easier!

- Download the registration form and drop it off at 817 Fort Street- Monday-Friday – 8:30am-4:30pm
- Donate on the day of starting at 3:00 pm outside of Felicita’s Campus Pub!

Check-in opens at 3:00 pm outside of Felicita’s Campus Pub (Student Union Building at UVIC) for Monster Dash package pickup. Run starts at 3:45 pm. Following the run we will have an awesome after party and announce the prize winners!
