Christmas is an illuminating time of year.
Let the countdown begin!
One by one, main streets all across Vancouver Island are being set aglow in twinkling lights this week, as communities gather to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with fun and festive downtown events. Plan to be there as the lights go on in your town!
The struggle of those with less is also illuminated during the holidays, and hard-working groups are also gathering at this start of the Christmas season to help ease the difficulty for many in need. There is no darkness so dense or so difficult, that it can't be overcome by light. ~V.Stanfill
