We've got the power.

Energy and persistence... They conquer all things.
~Benjamin FranklinUsually it takes a lot of energy to make change. Sometimes, though, the key to change is found in using less of it instead.
On October 27th, many restaurants across Vancouver Island will be participating in the Candlelight Conservation Dinner, dimming the lights and turning up the atmosphere to show how simple actions can make a big difference in energy savings.
While we're making our reservations, let's also keep in mind the many people in our communities who won't be dining in the dark by choice. This week is Homelessness Action Week across Canada, and we've got the power to make life better.
