XTERRA Victoria is part XTERRA World Tour. Swim in the crystal clear waters of Durrance Lake, bike the world class mountain bike trails of Mt. Work Park, and run in the scenic wilderness trails of the Partridge Hills.
=0D=0A=There are 25 spots available at XTERRA Victoria to the XTERRA World Championships in Maui.
There are two adult race distances. The sprint race is approximately half the distance of the championship race and is more suited to less experienced off road triathletes. The championship course is the qualifier for the XTERRA World Championships.
One qualifying spot for the XTERRA World Championships will be offered to the first place finisher in each age group, male and female, in the Championship event with additional spots being allocated by XTERRA.
Triathlon:
Sunday, July 10, 2016, 8:00 a.m. swim start (first wave)
Championship Race:
1500m swim – 24K bike – 8K run
Sprint Race:
750m swim – 12K bike – 4K run
Race Categories
Individual Male & Female: U20, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
Relays: Male, Female, and Mixed. Relays may consist of 2 or 3 persons. A mixed relay must consist of at least one member of each gender.
Registration fees
Championship triathlon:
Regular Championship fee – $120
Late Championship fee (after June 17th) – $160
Championship triathlon relay entry – $90 regular/$120 late per team member
Sprint triathlon – $90 Regular/$130 late
Sprint course relay entry $80 regular/$100 late per team member
Non TriBC members add $15 race day insurance fee.
All triathlon registrations received on or before June 27, 2016 will receive a high quality custom technical shirt included in the registration fee.
