Most of us remember where we were and what happened on Sept 11, 2001. This year our WREN Victoria Meetup date is set for 9/11 on purpose, as a reminder of how important community really is. In advance of the event, we encourage you to read the Meetup blog 9/11 to learn how the Meetup organization was born. Many of us are on a similar mission and we are personally thankful that Meetup was created to focus on bringing people together.

We have invited Ian Batey to speak about affordable housing (http://victoriahomelessness.ca) and Katie McGowan to speak about her "Kitchen 4 Missions" event happening on September 29, 2018 in Victoria (www.kitchens4missions.com). Liza Rogers, Founder and CEO of WREN, will speak about WREN's new online education program!!
