Let’s Talk About Grief - Sunday, October 20 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Grief touches each of us. It is a complex, individual experience. How might we support friends and family in their grief journey? How can we understand our own grief experience? This workshop explores the impact of grief, models of grief journeys and meaningful ways to offer support for those in grief.
=0D=0A=Let’s Talk About Rituals – Sunday, November 3 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Rituals are small actions, such as lighting a candle, that can create peace and support during our grief journey. How might ritual support you or someone close to you? This workshop introduces the concept and purpose of rituals and explores different types of rituals. Participants will have the opportunity to create a ritual of personal significance.
=0D=0A=Let’s Talk About Christmas – Sunday, November 24 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm Christmas can be a challenging time for those in grief. How do we “get through” this festive season when grief leaves us heartbroken? This workshop explores the impact of Christmas on those experiencing grief and generates discussion of possible ways to plan for the holiday season.
