Learn the various Canadian legislation and regulations (both Federal and Provincial) governing hazardous materials, identification of HAZMAT, spill response procedures, personal protection equipment, and much more. After completing this course the attendee will able to describe the hazards of a spill and how they may cause injury or illness, Identify the relevant legislation, standards or guidelines related to the spill and prepare an Action Plan to identify, assess and control the spill based on an actual workplace situation. Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences, and the group is shown a simulated spill and how to properly respond.=0D=0A=
