The program includes pieces by Delius, Purcell, Bach, Kreisler, Barber and features Elgar’s Serenade for Strings. Guest harpist Lesley Hartford will join the orchestra for Vaughn Williams' beautiful Fantasia on Greensleeves. Lesley will also perform the Bach Gounod Ave Maria together with Camerata violinist Carol de la Haye. Special guest Elisabeth Jahren will play her own arrangement of Bartok’s Romanian Dances on accordion together with professional violist Chris Redsell. There will also be some instrumental arrangements of traditional Christmas Carols.
