“Can you show me a world as you can imagine you would like it to be?” the counsellor said to the young girl. The child proceeded to build her world in the sand tray. The house had a family in one room, a swimming pool close by, a forest across the street and a parking lot out front. The counsellor realized that the girl was building a representation of the Transition House the child was now staying in. “Is this a safe place for you?” the counsellor inquired. “Yes.” said the child “There is no fighting... no one yells... and no one hits anyone here.”=0D=0A=
