URL:http://www.harbourliving.ca/event/western-edge-theatre-making-tracks/
LOCATION:Harbour City Theatre :: 25 Victoria Road Nanaimo,
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:
First up in the Western Edge Theatre Season is the premiere of Making Tracks, a combination suspense drama and mystery in which a young woman travels with her boyfriend to her childhood home deep in the Yukon woods. It is winter, an accident occurs, and Nina finds herself suddenly alone with the ghosts of her family – who, as the hours pass, become all too real.

By turns lyrical, funny, and chilling, Making Tracks is the centrepiece of the fifth New Waves Festival, a 10-day celebration of new writing that also includes staged readings of new scripts by Nanaimo-area writers. Moher calls the play, written by VIU Creative Writing graduate Mary Fraughton, “an extraordinary playwriting debut -- a moving family drama wrapped inside an intriguing puzzle.”
=0D=0A=

It plays Sept. 25, 26 and Oct. 2, 3 at 7:30 pm, with a matinee on Oct. 4 at 2 pm, at Harbour City Theatre (25 Victoria Rd.), Western Edge’s main venue for the 2015-16 season. Long-time company member Nicole Busby directs.
___________________________

A subscription to all three plays in the 2015-16 season costs just $56 for Adults, $45.00 for Seniors (65+), and $30.00 for Students, a saving of 15% over the cost of individual tickets.

Early-bird subscribers who purchase before August 15th also receive an additional two free tickets which can be used for any performance.
