DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Do you want to learn how to use watercolour? If you're brand new to watercolour painting or are looking to get back into it after a long break, this class is for you.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Learn from professional watercolour artist and arts educator Josslyn Meyers as you explore basic techniques. Topics will include:</p>=0D=0A=
<p>- How to create washes that don't look muddy</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Working with different brushes to get different looks</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Understanding how watercolours react to each other, water and the paper</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Understanding how colors mix (very different from acrylics!)</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-How to gain some control over this more fluid method</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-Finding your own personal approach to creating imagery and to feel more comfortable with this medium.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>We will experiement together and build confidence. A great beginner class. CLASS DATES: Choose a 4 week term, Jan 17 - Feb 7 OR Feb 14 - March 7 $86/4 sessions .</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Recommended Materials List:</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-140-lb watercolour paper, cold press (pad or sheets)</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-watercolour brushes (1-inch flat, number 8 round, number 12 flat)</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-watercolour paints (tube or pan set)</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-masking tape and flat board</p>=0D=0A=
<p>-palette plate or mixing dish</p>=0D=0A=
