DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p><em>And the award goes to&hellip;</em><br />Guests of our 90th Academy Awards Viewing Party will be the first to know the answer to this question on March 4th, 2018!<br /><br />Vancouver Island University's English Department invites you to celebrate Hollywood's biggest night for the first time ever in the VIU Theatre. This glamorous event will be an important fundraiser for the department and will allow us to enhance the small awards and bursaries that we already offer.<br /><br />Not only is Film Studies a large part of our English Department's overall course offering's, but it is also a growing industry on Vancouver Island. The faculty is excited to invite students and the community to celebrate with us, and we expect this event to grow into a large annual fundraiser.<br /><br />There will be bar and food service available throughout the evening, as well as draw prizes and trivia games!</p>=0D=0A=
