DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>Late in Bach&rsquo;s life, King Frederick the Great of Prussia offered him a short, melodic theme to use in a composition. Bach took this &ldquo;musical offering&rdquo; and turned it into canons and fugues that make the original theme dance in amazing ways. Interspersed among the parts of &ldquo;Offering&rdquo; are one of Bach&rsquo;s lively Brandenburg concertos and a Concerto Grosso of Handel.
