Composers often borrow phrases from other compositions, recordings and films as memes for new works. This festival features such pieces where a composer quotes another&rsquo;s work to develop the idea in an interesting way. Including throwbacks to Bach&rsquo;s famous concertos and the musical The Sound of Music, this festival puts a new spin on favorites from many genres.
