LOCATION:Volunteer Victoria Office :: 306-620 View Street Victoria,
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:
The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement was first launched in 2001 by Volunteer Canada as a part of the International Year of Volunteers. Over the last 17 years it has undergone revisions with the last one being in the fall of 2017.
=0D=0A=

Involving volunteers in a respectful, meaningful and inclusive way is the responsibility of everyone in your organization. The Code provides a road map for your organization to acknowledge volunteers as an important resource and treat them fairly and responsibly. This not about a law or a policy, the Code recognizes and reflects the changing realities of volunteer engagement and management practice, and supports the work of those who manage and support volunteer involvement within an organization;it is designed to be inclusive and accessible to a diversity of people, cultures, communities, opportunities and approaches.
=0D=0A=

At the end of this workshop participants will have an understanding of the Code of Conduct for Volunteer Involvement and feel supported to implement any aspect to their volunteer program.
=0D=0A=

This workshop is for:
=0D=0A=
