The Westshore Christmas Hamper Fund Society prepares 650 to 700 hampers for the less fortunate, in need of help at Christmas time.  It provides everything necessary to prepare a full Christmas dinner plus extra food for the week, Santa presents for babies and younger children, gift certificates for teens, and grocery store food certificates for the purchase of the turkey. Last year The Canadian Armed Forces Fleet Diving Unit Pacific ran their second annual "Turkey Run" relay and raised $17,000 for The Hamper Fund. They will be running again this year on Saturday December 1st, to help once again, on The Society's behalf.  In support of the Turkey run and the efforts of the Westshore Christmas Hamper Fund Society, Everything Wine will host a BBQ on Saturday December 1st from 10:30-3pm. All BBQ items will be by donation with all proceeds going to the Christmas Hamper Fund Society. In addition,  Fleet Diving Unit personnel will be on site to demonstrate some of the tools of their trade and answer any questions about their unique and highly trained profession!
