For the 9th year, the Elves at Toys Toiletries & Toques have been collecting NEW, non-food items through 26 Drop Off locations throughout the Cowichan Valley. Our final drop off Day takes place outside Walmart. We collect all the donations, sort them into five even piles, and deliver them to the five food bank organizations from Ladysmith to Mill Bay who distribute to those that need a boost over the holiday season.
=0D=0A=On the final Drop Off Day, Santa comes to visit and is available for photos for a $5.00 minimum donation fee. Chef George from the Farm Table Inn also cooks up delicious hot dogs for a minimum $5.00 donation. All money that is collected is used to buy movie tickets, skating tickets, swimming tickets, BC Forest Discovery Centre tickets, bowling tickets and more.
=0D=0A=We are a 100% volunteer run organization and we work with fantastic sponsors like Speedy Glass Duncan who pays for our radio advertising, Solitaire Press who pays for our posters, and 11 Elves from various businesses throughout the Valley who donate their time and expertise to run the program every year.
