TheatreOne’s Fringe Flicks 19th season offers ten independent films at the Avalon Cinema on Sundays at 1, 4 & 7pm, and Mondays at 7pm. The first four titles are sure to please, with a diverse selection for film junkies!
=0D=0A=The first film is Hearts Beat Loud (Sept. 23/24), about a Brooklyn single dad and his daughter who embark on a journey of love, growing up and musical discovery after their first song becomes an Internet breakout.
=0D=0A=Next is Three Identical Strangers (Oct. 11/12) where the joyous reunion of three complete strangers who are identical triplets separated at birth, could transform our understanding of human nature forever.
=0D=0A=The Third Murder (Nov. 11/12) is a profoundly complex moral tale told as a murder mystery where secret histories and unlikely alliances point to a complicated set of circumstances.
=0D=0A=The fourth film in 2018 is The Miseducation of Cameron Post (Nov. 25/26), in which a high school girl gets shipped off to a Christian conversion camp for teens with “same-sex attraction” and ends up finding a place among fellow outcasts.
=0D=0A=Titles for 2019 are to be announced with the following dates: Jan. 20-21, Feb. 17-18, Mar. 10-11, Mar. 24-25, Apr. 7-8 & May 5-6
