His writing strives to surprise and intrigue through swings of volume, groove and emotion. In the summer of 2013, Wes contributed his musicianship and five originals to the record &ldquo;Off Pulse Quartet, Live in Holland&rdquo;. The album was recorded at the end of the quartet's two month stay in the Netherlands and was released the following summer.<br /><br />The Wes Carroll Confabulation walks the tight-rope, balancing detailed arrangements with the power of spontaneity. They perform predominantly original music, stretching out into a world of hip-hop rhythms and modern harmony while not losing their firm footing in post-bop, classic jazz and the blues.<br /><br />Ticket reservations are highly recommended.
