The Rotary Club of Oak Bay Presents A Christmas Concert with Orchestra Des Concerts Diemecke

The Rotary Club of Oak Bay is hosting this fundraising event in aid of literacy projects locally and abroad. The concert feartures Orchestre des Concert Diemecke, guest artists Soprano Mark Kirkwood and Trumpet Player David Barss. Pablo Diemecke is one of Canada's finest virtuoso violinists. He has appeared as a soloist around the world, and has completed 20 years of service as concertmaster of the Victoria Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Diemecke is the Conductor and Soloist of the Orchestra des Concerts Diemecke. Mary Kirkwood has been studying music for 10 years and is now in her third year of voice studies at the Victoria Conservatory of Music. David Barss has performed as a guitarist and trupeter throughout North America and Europe. Currently he is Principal Turmpet and co-founder of the Victoria Bach Ensemble. Please join us as we launch the Christmas season. Tickets can be purchased at the McPherson Box Office.
