Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites are a great place to visit at any time but especially during Colwood Rotary's Art & Wine Festival. There will be over 25 artists displaying their work: painting, wood sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, glass and much more. You will find pieces of art that you can purchase for your home or as a gift.
You will also have the opportunity to taste many different local and British Columbian wines and discuss the differences between them. Click on the tab "wineries"http://www.clubrunner.ca to see which wineries are attending the event.
There will also be food vendors providing everything from steak sandwiches to Rotary Dogs for purchase. You can stake out a piece of Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites for a picnic and tour of the Sites.
The Rotary Club of Colwood will use 100% of the money raised for local Rotary projects but especially to help build the Rotary Picnic Playground at Westshore Parks and Recreation. Please seewww.westshorerecreation.ca/facilities/playground.

Each ticket purchased will not only include entrance to Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites but also include a specially crafted wine glass and 8 tokens to sample wine. Children under 19 are admitted free.
