This is the year to experience Handel’s masterpiece with hundreds of singers raising their voices (and the roof of the Port Theatre) with the most colossal ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ ever heard in the Central Island. Of course, conductor Fiona Blackburn invites you to sing along on all your other favourite Messiah choruses.
=0D=0A=Our stellar quartet of professional soloists includes the return of our audience’s favourites: Eve-Lyn de la Haye, soprano; Deanna Sills, mezzo-soprano; Adam Schmidt, tenor; Louis Dillon, bass – all of whom will delight you with their artistry. Completing the ensemble will be: the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra, Jenny Vincent on organ, Pippa Williams on oboe and Merrie Klazek on trumpet.
