DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:<p>The Comox Valley Paddlers&rsquo; Club is pleased to welcome Laura Griffith-Cochrane as their guest speaker at the club&rsquo;s February meeting. Laura studied biology and oceanography at the University of Victoria and is the curator of the Ucluelet Aquarium - Canada&rsquo;s first Catch-and-Release aquarium.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Laura has made learning about marine ecosystems a life-long adventure. Through diving, snorkeling, surfing and foraging, she is constantly on the hunt for new ways to experience the ocean and connect people with marine environments.</p>=0D=0A=
<p>Laura's presentation will commence at 7:00 pm sharp and will be followed by a short break and a club business meeting. Doors open at 6:30 pm. The CV Paddlers Club meetings take place the first Thursday of the month, October through to May.</p>=0D=0A=
