=0D=0A=Learn to use well-tested storytelling techniques to create your own stories for your memoirs and family histories.
=0D=0A=Marva K. Blackmore, a well-known local storyteller, writer, and editor, is again offering a memoir-writing workshop on six consecutive Monday afternoons commencing on Monday, October 24 and continuing until November 28 at the McMillan Arts Centre in Parksville from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
=0D=0A=Using the time-honored techniques utilized by storytellers around the world, Marva will show the participants how to apply those techniques to their memoir stories. She will help them unleash their stories and capture them on paper. Once the stories begin to flow, she will then show the participants ways to organize those stories to begin to create a memoir.

=0D=0A=An experienced storyteller and workshop leader, she will help guide the workshop participants through the process of constructing their stories from their favorite and most vivid memories. Marva has also spent the last few years helping people write and edit their memoirs and brings that experience to this workshop.
=0D=0A=Registration and payment of the $135 registration fee is required in advance. All materials are included in the fees. The last workshop sold out quickly, so early registration is advised.
