<p>Dame Cicely Saunders (1918- 2005), the founder of modern hospice, started a worldwide movement to provide compassionate care for the dying. A nurse, social worker and doctor, she established new methods of pain control and initiated an innovative, holistic approach to care- giving for terminally ill patients and their families.</p>=0D=0A=
<p><br />&ldquo;CICELY! &nbsp;The Life and Work of Dame Cicely Saunders&rdquo; is a 60-minute story-theatre celebration of her life. Join Margaret Murphy and Wendy Potter in a riveting account of a remarkable woman whose vision of death and dying shaped our world. Tea and goodies will be served after the performance.</p>=0D=0A=
