Zaki Ibrahim’s music is at once futuristic and primal. She blends elements of pop, electronic, and post-dubstep music with R&B, soul, and jazz. Now based in Cape Town, this South African- Canadian singer-songwriter is earning international attention. She earned a Juno nomination for “R&B/Soul Recording of the Year” for her 2009 song “Money”. Her first full-length album Every Opposite was shortlisted for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize.
