=0D=0A=One of Halifax’s greatest exports is Gypsophilia, an award-winning sextet, who start with the gypsy jazz of Django Reinhardt and then add elements of tango, klezmer, funk, indie rock, New Orleans, and bebop. The group built a cult-following of dance-lovers by throwing wild 1930s themed concerts in Nova Scotia. Now they are selling out shows all over Canada. They have won numerous East Coast Music Awards, including “Jazz Recording of the Year” in 2013 for their album Constellation. These TD JazzFest favourites bring the guarantee of a dance party.
